Terms of service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and RigCheck ("we") for use of the RigCheck website and app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use RigCheck for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
The service
RigCheck lets you add machines, print QR stickers, collect operator inspections and damage reports, and track repairs and maintenance. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
Your account
Keep your login private and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account, including inspections submitted by people you give your stickers or links to.
Free trial, billing and cancelling
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start.
- Plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe, based on the plan you choose (Starter, Shop or Fleet) and its machine limit.
- You can change plans or cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- We do not give partial refunds for unused time, unless the law says otherwise. If you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will make it right.
- If a payment fails or a trial ends without a plan, your account becomes read-only until billing is fixed. Your records are kept, not deleted.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The change applies at your next renewal.
Your data
You own your fleet and inspection records. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service. Our privacy policy explains the details, including how to export or delete your data.
Acceptable use
Do not use RigCheck to break the law, to upload content you have no right to share, to try to access other customers' data, to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or to submit false records.
RigCheck does not replace your safety obligations
RigCheck is a record-keeping and communication tool. It does not inspect equipment itself, and it does not make a machine safe. You and your operators remain responsible for equipment safety, legal and insurance requirements, and for deciding when a machine must stay out of service.
Availability
We work to keep RigCheck running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep a backup way to record inspections, such as paper, for times when a phone has no signal or the service is down.
Limits on our liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or equipment damage or injury connected to how you use the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using RigCheck at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why when we can.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will update the date above, and email account owners about meaningful changes. Continuing to use RigCheck after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA.
